Also if you are coming from the Bangalore side then the plane journey will take around one hour only.  Trivandrum airport also has a large parking area which allows you to park your vehicles very easily. As the temple’s name suggests the main deity of this temple is Shree Maha Ganapathy meaning Lord Ganesha. The idol is placed in the seating position with the right leg folded stance. This temple is situated very close to the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple. This temple includes over 32 Sculptors in which all the different forms of Lord Ganesha are shown. The temple is maintained by the Indian Army. This temple is very near from the Trivandrum Railway station and it is almost around 10kms from the Trivandrum Airport.
