This temple of Lord Shiva is named after Daksha Prajapati who was the father of Sati. and Sati is another name of Goddess Parvati. This temple is not exactly in Haridwar but it is only 4km away from the Haridwar city you can reach it by using a bus or by using a cab. This temple is in full glory during the month of Shravan according to the Hindu Calender.
Maya Devi Temple
This is one of the ancient temples in the Haridwar and it is also one of the Siddh Peeth Located in Uttarakhand. Goddess Maya who is believed to be the incarnation of Goddess Shakti is said to be residing here. This temple is at the walkable distance from Hari ki Pauri.
