Being non-stop version of Rajdhani train, it takes minimum number of intermediate halts for technical purposes like crew change, loco change and also other reasons such as food pick-up, water-filling, etc. Hence, There are no commercial halts like booking done only for Mumbai to Howrah or Howrah to Mumbai. It shares rakes with Pune Howrah Duronto Express, which has same timetable or run between Manmad Junction and Howrah Junction.

Allahabad Duronto Express started giving service from 9th Feb 2010.The 12275 Allahabad New Delhi Duronto Express covers the distance of 634 kilometers in 07 hours 25 mins (85.48 km/hr) & in 07 hours 30 mins as 12276 New Delhi Allahabad Duronto Express (84.53 km/hr). As the an average speed varying of the train is above 34 mph (55 km/h), as per our Indian Railway rules, its allowance includes a Superfast surcharg.

The Sealdah Rajdhani Express connects Sealdah (Kolkata) and Delhi. It is the 2nd fastest train after Sealdah to New Delhi Duronto Express on the Sealdah-Delhi sector. A high-speed WAP7 locomotive regularly hauls this express train.It operates as train number 12313 from Sealdah (Kolkata) to New Delhi Railway Station and as train number 12314 in the reverse direction.

10. Garib Rath Express:

It is the fastest express train in the Garib Rath category which runs 81.15 km/hr, between Hazrat Nizamuddin to Bandra. The Garib Rath (literally: “Poor people’s chariot”) is a no-frills air-conditioned train started by the Indian Railways Only seating and three-tier (78 seats) accommodation is provided in Garib Rath The maximum speed of Garib Rath trains is around 130 Kmph.
